About this game

NETFLIX MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED.

Experience the blockbuster classic, updated for a new generation with across-the-board enhancements including brilliant new lighting and environmental upgrades, with high-resolution textures, increased draw distance, Grand Theft Auto V-style controls and targeting, and much more.

Five years ago, Carl 'CJ' Johnson escaped the haze of Los Santos, San Andreas ... a city tearing itself apart with gang trouble, drugs, and corruption. Now, it's the early '90s. CJ’s got to go home — his mother has been murdered, his family has fallen apart, and his childhood friends are all heading towards disaster. On his return to the neighborhood, a couple of cops frame him for homicide, forcing CJ on a journey that takes him across the entire state of San Andreas, to save his family and to take control of the streets in the next iteration of the series that changed everything.

The game is amazing, same classic graphics from ps2 as well, however on most devices I've downloaded it on the phones can't handle the game. I'd recommend using a high end tablet to play, otherwise it's going to freeze and crash as the graphics were not optimized for mobile. It's just a straight port

it's almost as I remember it years ago. there's been a few changes that make it easier to play as far as on foot controls. Driving controls though I'm not sure if I remember it being that wonky but it's also been a long time. Touch screen controls are manageable I guess but I definitely recommend using a controller to get the most enjoyment out of it. I'm glad Netflix added this game to the list. I hope to see the other GTA games soon without having to pay for them outside of a subscription.

Frustrating to play, a bit fun for a while but then the glitches, bugs, lags, and poor performance become frustrating. Whether this is a netlfix thing, a rockstar thing, or what, its just a bit of a painful experience compared to the fond memories I had playing the original version on a laptop in 2009. The only, I mean only reason I downloaded it was because I happened to have a netlfix account as well. I have the definitive edition for xbox one, seems to work a lot better
