With advances in tech, cloud storage should be cheaper, larger, & easier, not smaller, more expensive, & more difficult. Especially when you pay $140-$170 for a frame, it should all be included. Now Nix decides to just change their terms? What started as a great idea, has now become a money grab. Don't waste your money on this, especially when shared cloud storage exists and apps that can broadcast pictures to your smart TV, for a more reasonable price, you probably are already paying for.

Gave this frame to my parents 4 yrs ago, and they absolutely love it, however, we are disappointed in the changes they've made to now charge yearly subscription for photo storage. As others have said, they should have allowed current users an exemption to their new policy as it's also a huge hassle to change out albums and delete pictures to fit their new storage limits basically forcing the upgrade.

you have to subscribe to make this product any use at all. If you don't the frame is not much better than a manual loading digital frame from the early 2000s. The terrible thing is that Nixplay had free google photos integration previously and then removed it. no l No one in their right mind would buy this if integration with Google photos requires a subscription. Do yourself a favor and buy something else and let this company flop as it should!
