Compared to attending a Jitsi-meeting in a modern browser, I would call the experience "neutral" when it comes to the app. Some part of the UI needs to be re-designed for modern phones that have no physical font facing buttons since they use "on-screen buttons" and this "interacts" with the app. It's also interesting to note that if I use Chrome or Firefox on the smartphone, the meeting works much better (showing video from everyone, etc) than it does if I use the app (no video from others).

The app works great! A lot of the comments in previous reviews seem to be resolved. I used it on Android and ios. Login with Google worked well on both platforms. Regarding sharing the link and security. As long as you select a link with a hard to guess name you are fine.

literal dog water. it keeps saying that I'm in the call multiple instances and echoes my voice, it keeps claiming that both people are the only people in the call on both people's devices, authentication requires a Google account which defeats the entire purpose, and leaving the call doesn't actually leave the call and still keeps using the microphone.
