I've been using Textra for years and paid to have the ad free version. It's normally great, but lately I've been having the worst time with receiving messages from others and them reporting back that they aren't receiving my messages either. I wish this could be fixed because my stock app is awful and I rely on textra for all SMS & MMS. I've tried to resync, but it takes 24+ hrs and nothing changes, but there's also no way for me to actually use the app while it's syncing either. :(

I've been using this app instead of the stock app for quite a while now and really enjoy it. I love the recent addition of the complete emojis for reactions to texts ❤️ (can't do it for photos, though, but that's okay for me). Two other features I really like are the double-check before selecting/sending a picture, or before deleting a msg (the "sideways" garbage can). Such a great idea that I haven't seen on other apps. No accidental deletions!!❤️

Since the last update, gifs and images don't go through at all, and text-only messages may or may not go, and may or may not say it failed to send, and THAT alert may or may not be true. Receiving images is a crapshoot, too. Messenger and Smart Messages are working just fine.
