Since EA bought it they littered it with ingame adds, video's and transactions. Absolutely horrible as EA is famous for on all their games regardless of platform. That being said, the original design of the game made by Popcap games is still in there and it's an ageless classic. If you ignore all transactions and "watch vid to get X", it's still a great game. Gameplay 5/5, EA's greedy fingerprints 0/5 => rounded it up to a 3/5 overall.

I want to play this because of nostalgia, bringing me back when it's so popular, now it has ads, you can't even have complete lawn mowers in the game it only give you 3 or 4,and the in game purchases!? no more grind unless you money! imagine 600k coins for 1$ and you can buy all the extra games. my recommendation; Give the game the complete lawn mowers back and Add a system that we can save our data in case we lost or have new phones.

it's technically playable but you're better off not bothering. I purchased for nostalgia, but dear god the ads are egregious. between every level there's an ad that you have to skip (and wait 5-10 seconds) THREE TIMES before it finally goes away. You can't make an IAP to remove them until you beat the first 10ish levels and even then the game is still flooded with ads, like only giving you 3/5 lawnmowers then making you watch an ad for each missing one. Anti-player design at its finest.
