the new floating menu displayed when selecting text is deeply flawed in two ways. first, if I just want to translate or copy text, now it is automatically highlighted which is terrible. second, to remove a highlight now there's a very cumbersome three touch process. highlight should NOT be automatic (or at least configurable). removing a highlight should be much simpler. when I just want a translation now the app makes an undesired highlight, and removing the highlight is a cumbersome.

the app itself has a really nice charcoal background dark mode, but the only dark mode to actually read with is pitch black which is way too hard on my eyes. as I read at night, the lighter color modes are way too bright for me. why is there not a charcoal dark mode?? or the ability to customize background and text colors altogether?? it basically makes this app unusable for me. frustrating.

So I wasn't much of a reader until last year February. Facebook ad caught my attention with a billionaire romance book and was hooked every since. I wasn't paying for Kindle at the time I started reading so I did purchase a few books that didn't cost much and noticed I was reading everyday and flying through books that it was in my best interest(& my pocket interest) hahaha to get the Kindle app & pay the monthly fee. I've had no issues with the app since Ive been using it and I love it!
